Common Sense On Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is the use of digital media tools, such as smart phones, the internet that is designed to humiliate and harass others, typically repeatedly. Though for the most part teens do not engage in this, those who do are often motivated by a desire of power and attention seeking and their targets are many times people that are competing with for social status.  Cyberbullying can come in many different forms.  A bully can do great harm to a persons reputation and character through such a vast outlet like the internet to spread their hurtful content.  Not only can the message spread easily, it’s much harder to see who it was that spread this destructive message as oppose to face to face bullying.  Cyberbullying can result in severe emotional and even physical harm.  The information that the bullies post is sometimes very hard to remove.
